Senior Officer / Officer, Payment Operations, Technology & Operations

Business Function Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Process and complete the day to day activities of the section in an efficient manner while maintaining high quality and sound controls according to established procedures, bank policies and service standards. Responsibility  1.    Handle the processing of inward / outward CHATS & TT, fund transfer and related activities (including MIS and regulatory reporting) in accordance with the established procedures & risk control, bank policies & guidelines, service standards 2.    Handle the receipt of customer instructions and the confirmation with customers in accordance with the established procedures and risk control, bank policies & guidelines, service standards 3.    Handle and respond to inquiries / requests from internal / external partners, customers, on transaction processing and related matters 4.    Handle general clerical tasks, such as reconciling of work done, filing, etc 5.    Give suggestion for streamlining operational procedures, increasing productivity, enhancing operational control, achieving resource utilization (for surge of volume) by means of DBS Management System continuously 6.    Support any initiatives, new services and perform coordinator role as designated (e.g. BCP coordinator, PC coordinator) 7.    Provide coordination and work collaboratively with section members in completing the section’s responsibilities 8.    Promote and encourage open and good communication amongst all levels of members 9.    Comply with UDMA Policy requirement as well as UDMA governance process, control and support tasks, if required 10.    Adhere and comply with the rules, guidelines and regulatory requirement of the Bank, HKMA, MAS, etc pertaining to the operations 11.    Escalate exceptional / outstanding / suspicious transactions to section manager and other relevant parties for necessary action per the Incident Management Policy 12.    Public holiday duty may be required Additional Job Description Accomplish the job objective and perform the principal responsibilities Achieve the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI) annually All the work performed by the Team is in accordance with established procedures, bank policies and code of conduct Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
