About the Role This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly. Collaborate and coordinate with teams within Corporate Solutions and other departments (e.g. Legal & Compliance, Call Centre, Agency) to oversee, manage, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and relevant IA and MPFA regulations. Formulate and review internal staff, agents and sales procedures to execute effective sales controls and governance to maintain business sustainability. Responsibilities: Daily control and governance on sales activities and initiatives Assist MPF Responsible Officer (“RO”) to manage and supervise regulated activities, to be in full compliance with the internal and regulatory guidelines Manage and supervise MPF licensed staff of AIAHK subject to the latest regulatory requirements, including licensing/ CPD requirements/ regular review on the licensed staff’s fit and proper requirements Lead the development of effective controls and governance overall sales activities and initiatives by Corporate Solutions, to be in compliance with relevant IA / MPF guidelines / ordinance and avoid inducing aggressive selling / undesirable sales behaviours Manage business planning, risk management and financial control of the sales team, including regulatory reporting/ monthly control report, product & insurer due diligence review complaint handling and incident reporting Manage and Supervise MPF-related referral program initiated by CS, (either as referrer themselves referring business to the company, or as Subsidiary Intermediates with business referred to them by a third party referrer) Conduct periodic sales conduct assurance checks Prepare internal / external reports to senior management, Legal & Compliance, regulators if needed Guideline setting and staff awareness Develop and arrange regular training and timely communication to In-scope Staff for any update on MPF sales conduct requirements Manage the team operations with proper procedures to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements Work with internal governance team on different governance and control activities including annual review, audit and guideline setting Organize and lead the regular meeting with sales, operations and other second line departments for resolving issues, improving understanding Stay informed the latest compliance and sales conduct regulatory requirements and industry trends Implement control procedures on any risk areas identified and provide expertise and technical advice to team members Ad hoc projects Engage and communicate with cross-functional business teams to understand existing business processes and facilitate idea generation for sales process improvement opportunities Build and cultivate a compliant mindset across different business teams Lead ad hoc sales conduct project or review if necessary Requirements: University graduate, preferably major in business related subject or equivalent At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with insurance or banking governance / sales conduct experience Experience in corporate business / group insurance / pension will be a plus Strong Analytical ability, problem solving and communication skills Good team player and able to work independently Proficient in both spoken & written English & Chinese Proficiency in PC skills Experience in setting strategic priorities is preferred Ability to understand business issues, and collaborated closely optimally with various departments; Exceptional organization and motivational skills, including attention to detail Great teammate and willing to go extra mile to enable team success IIQE (paper 1,2,3 & 4) licenses are preferred Others:  You are required to obtain the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
