About the Role
This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.
Lead Governance & Control team of Partnership Distribution to manage the operation and sustain long term business quality
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and manage the execution of business quality framework for different distribution channels and models
Design and implement effective controls in the identified risk areas of partnership distribution channels including but not limited to the following:
- Selection and appointment of intermediaries
- On-going appraisal of intermediaries
- Sales & marketing and communication controls
- Compensation controls
- Sales process and business quality management
- Customer complaint and conduct management
Liaise with business partners and other internal stakeholders to implement effective controls in the identified risk areas
Work closely with business partners on business quality related areas and make sure the guidelines from IA is observed
Perform regular risk and control assessment for the department, and drive actions to address areas with increased risks
Manage and report compliance incidents for the department
Co-ordinate and provide supports for review of the department by Compliance, Internal Audit and regulators
Drive to enhance the awareness and knowledge of risk management and controls & governance for the department staff and business partners
Lead governance related initiatives to sustain long term business quality
Drive people development and performance driven culture
Lead ad hoc projects and assignments
Ensure team members who perform regulated activities have obtained the relevant licenses and fulfilled the licensing requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:
University/College graduate with 10 years’ relevant working experiences with supervisory responsibilities
Strong organizing and management skills
Strong presentation and communication skills
Good written and spoken English and Cantonese
Obtain relevant license if your job involves regulated activities
Others:
You are required to obtain the license of Insurance Authority (IA) (Paper 1, 3 and 5)
You are required to obtain relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities
