Job Description
Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate clients, fostering strong relationships and identifying opportunities for cross-selling UOB's full range of banking products and services.
Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and enhance UOB's brand presence in Hong Kong.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and risk assessments for clients, ensuring sound credit decisions and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Oversee the structuring and execution of complex financial transactions, including syndicated loans, trade finance, and treasury products.
Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to build a high-performing team.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments, including product development, legal, and compliance, to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Represent UOB at industry events and conferences, enhancing the bank's profile and networking with key stakeholders.
Prepare and present reports to senior management on business performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; CFA preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or a similar role within a reputable financial institution, with a proven track record of success.
Strong understanding of financial products and services, including corporate lending, trade finance, treasury, and capital markets.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with senior-level clients and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to originate, structure, and execute complex financial transactions.
Solid credit analysis and risk assessment skills.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Proficiency in English and Cantonese (both written and spoken) is essential; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
Deep knowledge of the Hong Kong financial market and regulatory environment.
Results-oriented with a strong commercial acumen and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Holder of ECF on Credit Risk Management (CRM) accredited by The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) is preferred
